Last I heard it’s on track for October use. Bigger question..... why no excavation last 30 days on foundation for new K-1 Lodge? Is is an Act 250 permit issue? Will delay prevent a November 2020 opening of new facility?

Looking at the Act 250 website, as recently as June 28 they have been dealing with historic preservation concerns on the old lodge. There is going to be some sort of digital online content created, and various "physical displays" will be present in the new lodge. That proposal is now under legal review.

More info here

There is also a waste water permit dated 7/1, that box is checked. They also need an approved plan for being in the Roaring Brook riparian zone, and an approved waste management plan for the demolition.

Well, given this, it's kind of too bad Irene didn't take out the entire thing!

Green light with the Breadloaf trailer all set up. Utilities have been moved from new lodge footprint area. Appears Bay 2 may be the staging zone for the project. Paid for my Bay 1 parking today but you can renew only as no new Bay one permits are being sold. This little project should have zero effect on my upcoming season.

up until the current year you could buy one if you wanted one...it's only good on sat sun and holidays and only until noon...and it's not all season....I'd never get one of those spots anyway even if they were first come first serve...

due to limited space because of construction I can see why they are offering renewals only...

I'm glad Shorts gets a parking pass and sets up on GN, that way I have a great place to stop off, meet up w people etc...and at the end of the day I know right where to find everyone... :Toast
