There's no "straight gene" either.

What matters from the article is this

"This new study provides even more evidence that that being gay or lesbian is a natural part of human life, a conclusion that has been drawn by researchers and scientists time and again,”

It's high time all religions that condemn homosexuality get with the 21st century and admit such teachings are wrong. Such beliefs were born in the dark ages and should no longer be considered valid in modern society.

You're right, I'm booking you a ticket to Syria so you can convince ISIS in person.

Can't speak to all religions, but Christianity condemns sin and homosexuality is a sin like many other things. Sin has existed since the beginning of time and just because societal norms for a small percentage of people have changed, Christianity should not follow suit. However, Christianity does welcome all sinners and should not reject LGBTQ persons from attending their church.

Isn't it sodomy and sodomites in general? If you're trying to be the cultural backbone of a civilization, it's typically a good idea to have rules that encourage having more children.

Eventually the moderate voices in Islam that accept homosexuality will out number the hard line Muslims. I know several Muslims that are perfectly fine with homosexuality

And LGBTQ people should not accept their choice in love as sin. Those teachings should be reformed.

Unbelievers can do / accept as they see fit; otherwise, it's heresy. Of course it's a struggle to abstain from sin ... it's not supposed to be easy ... but the key is not to rely on one's own strength but of that of Christ and submit to Gods will.

... you can't just change epistles because they're inconvenient ...

People believed the earth was flat at one time too.

All religions are man made. There is zero proof to the contrary. That's a fact.

Do I think it's plausible there is a God? Sure. Do I think he/she/it communicated down to man that Homosexuality is forbidden? No
