“An effective treatment is a huge deal and would create a path to open the economy and resume normal ‘social activities’ way sooner than a vaccine,” said Tom Lee, head of research at Fundstrat Global Advisors. “A treatment is safer and more scalable because it is only given to people who need to be treated.”
Even though the reports are anecdotal, this is promising news. Especially since remdesivir is both an antiviral and prophylactic.

It will be interesting to see the results of Gilead’s phase 3 controlled study, which should be available in a month or so.

XJ's post on March 4th validated our interest in GILD.
Unfortunately, not likely to beat our gains on PANW.
Earnings call today should be revealing. Absolute Hold.

:zzz
bla bla bla ya got some company stock...good for you, ya see @sshole it doesn't bother me one bit to see others do well...in fact I'm very much for that...it doesn't cost me a dime...but you pretending you made some kind of magically timed stock purchases and "big profits" based on XJ's recommendation is pure BS...

and a quick google search shows:
PANW is bordering on breakeven, according to the 34 Software analysts. They expect the company to post a final loss in 2020, before turning a profit of US$35m in 2021. So, PANW is predicted to breakeven approximately 2 years from today. ... Typically, debt shouldn't exceed 40% of your equity, which in PANW's case is 90%.Oct 2, 2019
free is free and the stock is significantly above IPO, so good fer you... however it's currently about where it was 5 years ago ...it's lost 20% since feb 14 and is up 6% YTD after losing 25% in the 4th quarter last yr...

tell us again about yer big stock gains...

as for treating people well? please... yer among the biggest fvcking @ssholes here...though I'm sure professionally you gobble any knob ya think will get you ahead...

don't go spending all them big "returns" in one place ... :seeya

any looting? any property destruction? is it against the law to open carry in michigan?
Gov Gretchen Whitmer may have handed Republicans a big advantage in the elections coming up in November.

She has tried to extend the state of emergency in Michigan but the House of Representatives in Michigan has voted it down and has now authorized a lawsuit against her after she refused to negotiate and declared that she has dictatorial power to do pretty much anything she wants to.

The House also voted to make future declarations of emergency to 14 days. Whitmer says she will veto that bill.
I'm not a big fan of protests but when all the "obama race riots" and anti trump riots were going on I said you would be unlikely to see looting and property destruction in any protest from the "right", you'd more likely see direct opposition to govt itself...it's nothing I'd encourage let alone be engaged in but it's a lot more in line with achieving it's objectives via constitutional rights than rioting and property destruction ever will be...

whitmers power play for VP is effectively over... her political career in michigan is likely to follow suit...

if only there were no variables in that equation...

https://www.theblaze.com/news/fauci-pom ... avirus-lab" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

we are a long way away from "spontaneously arose from a wet market"...impossible to know who to trust...

most likely came from Wuhan lab unintentionally, quite possibly could have been modified...there's absolutely no reason why something they were working on has any less chance of escaping than something they were simply storing "as is"... in fact quite possibly just the opposite...a sample being actively worked and modified has a greater chance of escaping than one that is simply being stored...but even there it must go from a stored state to a modified state during which it could theoretically escape at any time...That's my take on it...

unless you are in the field and have access to viral samples you have no way of confirming anything...
