UPDATE ON CORONAVIRUS (COVID-19) FROM COPPER MOUNTAIN

In the event of an emergency, we will provide information to our guests whenever possible on this page. Please consult local authorities for the most up to date information regarding any emergency situations.

March 14 Update

Our top priority—the health and safety of our staff, guests and local community—remains at the forefront and for this reason Copper Mountain will, consistent with Governor Polis’ Executive Order, suspend all resort operations starting tomorrow, March 15, 2020 through March 22, 2020. We will continue to monitor the dynamic COVID-19 situation and reassess our approach for the rest of the season during this timeframe.

The suspension includes all lift operations, food and beverage, retail and rental services, athletic club and resort activities. Our lodging and property management facilities will remain open to service guests we have on site or those with existing reservations, but we will not be taking new reservations for the remainder of March, 2020.

Suspending our operations is an important step for us to take in support of the nation’s efforts to limit the spread and risks associated with COVID-19. This is a dynamic situation and we continue to believe outdoor mountain recreation provides a meaningful escape to nature, which is what made this a difficult decision but this is the right thing to do.
