From the Vermont Standard

Sheriff deputies return to Bridgewater on Sept. 1
The Windsor County Sheriff’s Office will resume daily traffic patrols in Bridgewater and Bridgewater Corners. “We’re looking to run the program for a couple of months and see how it goes, and see what the numbers are,” Sheriff Michael Chamberlain said. According to Chamberlain, the new contract will be similar to a previous expired contract that included 84 hours of law enforcement coverage, including traffic patrols, each week. But the new contract will include four hours of daily coverage seven days a week.

Well was fun while it lasted.

I made it from the LT Brewery to the Gondi in record time a couple weeks ago with 2 guys following me on bikes.

That is a great driving road.......

So they're only going to be there for 28 hours a week instead of 84 hours?

Plymouth Sheriff was hanging out in Tyson today. Revenue must be down so they are switching up locations.

what a shitty job that must be... even if you only had to do that one day per week. Writing 10 hours of speeding tickets must get incredibly blah...

Used to be a great job till it was ruined by the liberal weiners. Never knew what you'd do 1 minute to next.

Update FYI - Speed Limit has now been raised to 30 MPH through Bridgewater center. Sheriff sightings are now scarce.

He is still very active on Rte 100 in Plymouth and Tyson . .

If anyone is headed up to Burlington or further on 89, watch out. Could not believe how many State patrollers were out two weekends ago. One might suspect something caused a reduction in traffic and thus ticket revenue in VT the last year plus or something.
