if you cared about native americans and their history, you would advocate for the education system to teach about their history without the whitewashing.

When will we be tearing down the Statue of Liberty? Not everyone who immigrated to America was a green woman like her. My ancestors who immigrated here were not all green women, in fact I don’t think any of them were. And besides, Napoleon was French wasn’t he? He was a pretty controversial figure wasn’t he? Wasn’t he responsible for more deaths in Europe than anyone else besides Hitler? My ancestors in Europe probably suffered as a result of him. We listed our house in NJ recently and were told that we couldn’t state “family friendly neighborhood” in the listing because it’s exclusionary. I said to the realter “you’re joking right?” I seriously thought she was. I almost blew a fuse.

I considered myself an independent before this last election and my voting record over the past 35+ years has been split almost evenly between both parties, probably more left leaning if anything, but after this last election and what I’ve seen out of the Dems between impeachment attempts (which they don’t think is divisive), Kavanaugh (which was a disgrace), socialist like Bernie and AOC, open borders madness, defunding the police lunacy, nauseating political correctness, the cancel culture, and that wench Nancy tearing up the state of the union address like a petulant child, I will never vote democratic ever again in my life.

What does changing the name of a ski area to take out a known racial slur have to do with trophies or the statue of liberty? It's a ski resort. A recreational facility. They change the names of places like this all the time. Do you get this upset when a stadium sells naming rights and ends up being named after a big corporation?
