How many days have you skied/ridden this 2020/2021 season?

Post by tyrolean_skier »

I'm starting this thread because I have no idea now how many days I will be able to ski. So here we go:

All 17 days the resort has been open. Afraid to take a day off as the plug may get pulled at the drop of the hat.

Zero. Nursing a bum knee until I see the orthopedist next week. Haven’t wanted to risk further injury until I know what’s up, especially with conditions and limited terrain so far.

Welcome to the "count" thread (haha), hope you heal well, and let us know your updated number(s) once you get out there!

Still zero but hope to be out this week. Cortisone shot seems to have helped but it’s arthritic so need to nurse it and start to strengthen all the muscles around the knee to relieve some of the stress. Once I’m back out there I can go back to ignoring this thread and my day count like I always do. Publicly (or even privately) counting is an exercise I find silly. It’s about having fun, nothing else.

Good luck and have fun, hope it turns out ok. Five days for me (usually I wouldn't have posted on the count thread this early in the season, but I figured you would prefer to not be the last poster shown counting :-) ).
