He’s better than some of the others at this point and I commend him for the stance he’s taking. It certainly takes courage to do what he’s doing, but of course with these folks there’s always a strategy. So we can’t forget his actions, or lack thereof, from the recent past.Bubba wrote: ↑Feb 27th, '21, 18:08 Rep. Adam Kinzinger is trying.

Less than a year and a half ago he voted against the first impeachment saying:
I think if you’re going to say politics is a test of character you must be consistent. Not boast about a “test of character” on the heals of being re-elected just weeks before speaking out.During this impeachment process, my colleagues ignored the right of due process as well as past precedent for impeachment in favor of a highly partisan, politically driven process
Mitt Romney is the only one that’s shown his true character the last four years.
Re: Can the Republican Party Be Saved?
given the cult worshipping a literal golden statue of trump with american flag shorts at CPAC, no. funny these so called "christians" are participating in idolatry (against the ten commandments) and disrespecting the flag they claim to care about when complaining of athletes kneeling for the anthem in protest for civil rights.
there's many more legitimate reasons behind the no, but they say a picture is worth a thousand words...

There has been a rumor in DC for many years that Graham is gay.XtremeJibber2001 wrote: ↑Mar 8th, '21, 11:03This interview is so wild. Graham is getting blackmailed, right?Bubba wrote: ↑Mar 8th, '21, 10:44 Lindsey Graham describes GOP as hostages to Trump

Why's the golden statue of Trump wearing flip flops? When have you ever seen Trump wearing shorts? Why's he holding a wand with a star?
Graham is a buffoon. I can't imagine that there are too many people in either party that don't see that at this point. Same with Ted Cruz. How do these clowns keep getting re-elected?

Re: Can the Republican Party Be Saved?
I get what you're saying, but you'd think these buffoons would lose in a primary to any challenger who's a bit less ridiculous.
Re: Can the Republican Party Be Saved?
One would think. At least that is what I would have hoped would have happened in the republican party that I used to consider myself a part of. Unfortunately it is going the other way and we see nutjobs like Marjorie Taylor Greene defeating sensible candidates in the primary. Or just look at the previous election cycle where someone sensible like John Kasich couldn't defeat Trump. One would hope it turns around but it does not seem to be.easyrider16 wrote: ↑Mar 8th, '21, 14:34 I get what you're saying, but you'd think these buffoons would lose in a primary to any challenger who's a bit less ridiculous.

Re: Can the Republican Party Be Saved?
of course he isn't recognizable. The republican party is a shell of its former self. They are now the party of Marjorie Taylor Green, QAnon, and loony conspiracy theories.Bubba wrote: ↑Mar 19th, '21, 17:28 Analysis: George W. Bush is unrecognizable in the current Republican Party

Hopefully they swing back to that of fiscal conservatism and personal responsibility.
