It's so difficult to even discuss these issues because people keep seeming to get basic facts wrong. First, the Senate does not impeach. The House does, and it did, then the Senate held a trial and acquitted Trump. Second, you're making a pretty big assumption that Vindman was the source of a leak. Based on what evidence? He was subpoeanaed because he was in the room during Trump's conversation as part of his regular duties. He was one of several subpoeanaed for that reason (e.g. Volker, Williams).
As to Biden and Ukraine, it's been investigated ad naseum by Republicans for years and yet there's still zero evidence of illegal behavior. Trump held office for four years yet his justice department did nothing with it. Then when Biden challenges Trump in the election, suddenly Trump is talking about Ukraine. Are you too naive to see what's happening there? Are you also naive enough to believe that Trump pressured Ukrainian officials to investigate Biden during the election for some legitimate purpose?
You're naive to not realize the DOJ doesn't do the POTUS' bidding (unless the POTUS is a Dem). They and the FBI have been politicalized and are corrupt.
It is plane to most people that Hunter's Burisma gig was corrupt, as were his China deals, and more recently, his art sales. Perhaps nothing illegal was done, but it is corrupt to the core.

So when Obama was in office, the DOJ did his bidding, and in fact Obama was such an influential and impressive leader that he was able to get the DOJ to keep doing his bidding during the 4 years when President Trump was in office? This despite many in the DOJ being life long Republicans? It's hard to believe that people actually buy into that deep state bullsh!t. I think it's pretty clear that Trump removed anyone at the justice department that thwarted what he wanted to do. He also got them to do his bidding, for instance when they seized records from Apple relating to house intelligence committee members and when they opened an investigation into the origins of the first impeachment.

I might even agree with you on this point. Trump doesn't though. He called Biden a criminal. If he was a criminal, why didn't his DOJ prosecute?
The funny thing is Trump is recorded in a phone call doing the exact same thing he accuses Biden of doing - applying pressure to Ukrainian officials to do something to benefit him personally. Yet there's no outrage from Trump supporters over that one.

Because we have all seen the video of Quid pro quo Joe bragging about only giving the Ukrainian government one billion in relief if they fire the prosecutor investigating Burisma! What company was paying unqualified, drug addict Hunter something like $80k per month to sit on their board? Burisma!

Vindman was the whistle blower, no doubt. The whole Ukraine impeachment was nothing more than another Democrat Party setup hit-job, similar to the so called insurrection and Russian collusion.

How hard has it really been investigated? Did the FBI arrange a dawn raid complete with tactical units and frogmen w/FOX News cameras on scene? I think not. Once again lots of questions have been asked with the only reply being denial, obstruction and deflection.

Nonfarm payrolls increased by 943,000 in July, according to the Labor Department, topping consensus forecasts of 845,000. The nation's unemployment rate dropped to 5.4% for the month, lower than the 5.7% economists had projected.
