Does this really mean much? Is she anticipated to vote with the Democrats, like Liberman/Sanders, etc.?

It would matter to me as an Arizona voter. I think it's pretty crappy of a candidate to switch affiliation mid term. Even if she continues to vote with the Democrats, she should have held onto the affiliation through her term as she was elected as a Democrat. Little bit of voter betrayal there.

Or was this also part of a campaign announcement that she'll run as an independent?

This is why I wish the GOP weren't in such disarray. These are clearly very stupid ideas. I also think that it would be radically unfair to charge current tax payers with enormous sums of money to pay for a wrong perpetrated by their ancestors.

Black lives matter, and we should try to eliminate the racial inequities and systemic racism from our society. But proposals like this are just stupid, and end up hurting the cause more than helping.

At the 11th hour, MN Democrats come together to pass a series of bills and reforms.

Really crazy stuff like medical leave, funding education, replacing lead pipes, codifying Roe v Wade.

The devil is in the details as far as funding some of the items, but as far as the concepts it is pretty hard to argue with most of what was passed

Two indictments. He should resign. Could you imagine if he had four?! What should someone with four indictments do?

I assume he is making sh!t up here? Has anyone in the U.S. been "de-banked" for their political beliefs?

Love how he rambles from banks to electric cars, then sh!ts on electric cars for a bit. He's fun. He should be in comedy, not politics.

And yet Sununu said he would support Trump if (and likely when) he becomes the Republican nominee. Too bad - i have generally had pretty favorable views towards Sununu - but he is showing he in only slightly less of a coward than the rest of them.
