tuesday 2/15 report
we're having a "heat" wave. not really ... a comparatively balmy 3 degrees at the bell w the bluebirds flying. another flat & firm groomer day. usual suspects on snowdon skied quite well at the bell. did our usual beat kms to highline routine and surprisingly found it ungroomed and slick. perfect for the racers. LEF was very nice in the sunshine and earned a repeat. skyeburst good but the rather stiff breeze on the spq sent us to needles where we made a rare trip to rt 4. if on a groomer day i was gonna call an rotd, it would be cruise. panic groomed and better than yesterday and needles decent. supe HW - night on bald mtn, mid good on the tree line and preston's rather windblown slick. lark>lower bitter ok. by my 12:30 quitting time, the wind was picking up and the groomers had worn out their welcome.
