Fascism is an ideology that advocates one-party dictatorship, hyper-nationalism, a militarized society organized around the state (youth, professional groups, etc.) with independent organizations (business, unions) dominated or eliminated.

Most people like Throbster who talk about antifa don't actually know what it means and haven't bothered to look it up. It's just a word they've heard thrown about on Fox news and other conservative media. Case in point - that article Daily Press article Throbster posted. It actually misquotes the wikipedia article, but did Throbster look at the original source? Of course not. And he won't even after he reads this post.

FYI since you clearly didn't read the wikipedia article, it talks about how what is commonly called antifa is a highly decentralized array of disparate, independent groups, many of which are nonviolent. What you are doing here is the equivalent of saying all right-wingers advocate violence just because some of the more radical ones do.

Also, as your reading comprehension is generally suspect, let me clearly state that at no point above did I indicate support for antifa generally or any group that identifies as such. I am merely pointing out the fact that you are parroting what you've heard on right-wing media without actually looking into the substance of the matter, as usual.

You still don't seem to get it. Antifa is not a single group or organization, despite the right-wing media's attempt to paint it as such. Antifa just means anti-fascist. There are lots of groups that identify as anti-fascist, some good and some not so good.
