He was for all of this, before he was against it. Shame, really.

The RED Wave is coming. Republicans will gain seats in the house and senate. Biden will resign due to incompetence and his connection to his sons shady business deals like “ your not getting the money until you fire the prosecutor “.
The reason for the RED wave will be record crime in America under Biden’s lack of leadership, record inflation and its connection to fuel and home heating oil and the price of food are just some of the issues that will turn the majority in the house and Senate RED. People are tired of going woke and broke !

Umm - the reason the republicans will take the house (assuming they do but that seems to be the likely outcome) is because the incumbent presidents party always loses seats in the mid term election. It has swung back and forth like that for decades and is likely to continue to do so for decades more.

That, and the economy. Which the Democrats and Biden aren't really to blame for, but in real life when the economy tanks the party in power almost always gets kicked out. If Republicans weren't so caught up in false claims of voter fraud, they'd realize that the real reason Trump lost in 2020 is that Covid disrupted the economy/supply chain/etc.

Some nuts on the right will see this "red wave" as a vindication of their ideas, which sucks because it's not. I think most people see the Republican platform right now as a very mixed bag. I really think the Republicans need to get kicked hard for their voter fraud shenanigans so they are motivated to clean house of people like MTG, Bobert, et. al. Unfortunately that outcome seems unlikely.

I haven't heard a single decent idea on how Republicans intend on fixing inflation. They probably don't need to change anything as it will continue to fall over the next year based upon fed actions this summer / fall.

Democrats did a bad job pointing out that inflation is a global issue and there's a limit to how much US monetary policy changes will impact it.

There have been 22 midterm elections from 1934 to 2018 and the President's party averaged a loss of 28 House seats and 4 Senate seats. The president’s party gained seats in the House only 3 times, but gained seats in the Senate on 6occasions. The president’s party has gained seats in both houses only twice.

2018 - Rs lost 40 house seats, gained 2 senate seats
2014 - Ds lost 13 hose seats, lost 9 senate seats
2010 - Ds lost 63 house seats, lost 6 senate seats <--- biggest 'wave' in recent history since Eisenhower.

The 2022 prediction, depending on which polling you reference, seems to be a toss up for the Senate and Ds stand to lose around the historical average for the House (e.g., ~28 seats).

Yes, let's vote for the country to be like the south. The Republicans are doing such a wonderful job down there

Feelings and emotions are what drive Republican voters; not logic and intelligence
