Mid-day / Afternoon Report: Quite good !

After watching first SL run from our couch, took Skyeship shuttle up and 4 runs off the Bubble before the second run.

ROTD: Upper Bunny [right] -> Mouse Trap [[right] -> Lower Bunny [left]. Generally very nice snow, a combo of nat and windblown manmade, on the side of Upper Bunny and Mouse Trap. Lower Bunny nothing special but found left side to be less dangerous.

Lower Chute sucked. Figure just normal Low-E gun crappy snowmaking. Talked to some friends who were there for the rope drop on it and then couldn't believe how bad it was.

Mouse Run OK, but not as good as Upper Bunny.

After the second race run, back out for a few more runs mostly on Snowdon. Up top, Upper Double Dipper was just a flat nothing, but in decent shape. Rime bump lines better than they were a week ago. Did not do UEF.

Yup, the low-e guns suck. They should have done a second groom on lower chute. A shitty product put out by the "sustainable" POWDR corp.

The HKD guns are fine, but Lower Chute has Snow Logic (No Logic) guns. Considering that they only want to make snow on 2 trails, they should not be air limited.

Every one of those No Logics should be ripped out and sold off (if anyone even wants them), they are junk in just about everything but the coldest/driest temps assuming there is no wind whatsoever. Then put Impulses in which will perform "fine" in 90% of the snowmaking spectrum.

Agree - Those guns suck.

Forgot to add some drama on our way back on Skyeship shuttle after the race/skiing: A carload of our Asian friends missed a turn on E Mountain Road [the left hander just after going under the tunnel] and flew over the guardrail down into the deep ditch. Didn't appear anyone was hurt too badly. Quite a response from emergency services etc [everyone needed was there except for tow truck - When tow truck arrived looked like he might not be able to get the car out. Might have needed a crane !].
