Howdy Second Shift Beast Fans - Here's the Afternoon Report
Wow - Love it when it snow 6+ inches through the day. One of best days at K in recent memory and certainly best day of the season.
LRROTD: Ridge Run. Best I've seen this trail in quite some time as it usually gets pummeled to a pulp pretty quick. Nice to see the classic hard left line so nicely in play.
Also up top, FIS open though nothing real special. Rime bumps as good as they've been in a while. Intesting side trip on High Traverse -> Lower Catwalk.
For me, Snowdon was where it was at with the Triple running instead of the bubble 6. Not many peeps riding that lift = more pow! All good !
Lots of poaching going on in the canyon and other places. Can't believe they haven't opened Upper Chute yet. Gotta believe they're gonna drop some more ropes tomorrow.
Fun to be laughing with friends in bay one at 4:20 or so with all the new snow on us and our cars !
