Yeah it sucks. Canned my morning run cause it's too hot. Settled for the treadmill at the gym instead. At least it's airconditioned. Kid wants to go to the track to ride his dirtbike. Can't imagine a place I'd rather be at less than a dirt track at 3pm today without shade.

I'm thankful for this hot weather early in June. The water has warmed up nicely. I was able to wakeboard in the Chesapeake this morning and not freeze my nutz off. Not normal for Maryland waters this early in the season. I'm loving it!

It was so cool over the water both yesterday and today that I needed to wear a jacket. Today I was totally unprepared for what was waiting for me out there. It was so hot when we left home but as soon as we got to Gilgo beach cove the ocean breeze kicked in and even the sun could not warm me enough. I spent most of the afternoon on the boat reading a book under a blanket. SkiDork and kids did venture to the little beach and they claim that it did warm up a bit in the sun.
