Fabulous out there - we have an injury getting in the way, but nice to get out on soft powder and no people! It is so nice it's worth it even if you can only get out for a short time;)

indeed a fine day on the hill. just what the doctor ordered. maybe an inch and change on the hill at the bell and continued throughout the session. maybe 3-4" when i left around 1:15 and it was kicking into the next gear. the place was MT on a pow day. bizzaro world ...

usual beat kms to highline. that inch & change provided a nice cushion on a very firm race worthy surface. the main snowdon line, particularly upper bunny skied very well. LEF nothing special. amazingly escapade was still untracked - where was everyone. our rotd. a well covered and relatively untracked flume was good. after that it was laps on newly opened downdraft. normally dislike the box but today was the most i've riden it all season.

at bear hoping the stash was open. surprisingly wasn't. claw/burst was very good. burst/fire not as good. hey captain, skied grizzly. it does exist. nothing special. maybe one other track on thimble (always think of ty). continued down the gondi line which was good and over to lower stitch which really good. old upper needles featured some hard bumps. some good pow on top of the scratch and crunch on vertigo (mid down).

skye lark good. low road some crunchy bumps. old supe some very good pow skier's left. did not care for the very manly bumps on mid o. lower supe good. in general still a very hard surface lurking underneath but this helped. the captain should have a very good shift.

Afternoon Report: About 3" to start proly just overlapping SA. 7-8" new at closing bell. Blower Pow that did not cover the ice underneath. Decided to enter "pow seeking" mode and spent most of the day on low angle stuff. NOTE: If true, it kept snowing as K reporting 15" from this storm.

Warmup Mouse Run park [low angle, groomed underneath], and lots of untracked sweet. Middle Chute firm underneath and Lower Chute very good. Over to North Ridge where Ridge Run was great [could feel the firm underneath though].

Pipe Dream excellent with some crunch on the lower pitch. No problem getting out as only guns on Bear Cub were low at the S turns.

Nothing to see in the Stash - It was closed! ROTD: Dream Maker -> Lower Skye. Several laps one with Grizzly option in play which as SA posted was good, but crunchy.

Chose Home Stretch option, vs Lower Cruise, which was nice but not as good as Dream Maker. One down Yodeler which was great and through the carpet run to Rams Head.

ROTD contender Swirl. Three laps there. Don't try going down the poma line; broken up stuff underneath.
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down

yup would be sugarcoating to say it wasn't firm or crunchy underneath. nonetheless still good if you knew where to go. hopefully the extra snow overnight filled it in. didn't get there but swirl is often a "secret" stash. was thinking the trees should be ready (for me) today. unfortunately on the sidelines.
