Didn't one of the new Mountain Safety Officers get fired from KMS a few years ago for taking students out of bounds?

Was that Tucker? Ended up in the Sargeant Brook drainage with a class of kids?

refresh my memory, its been a while, you don't cross a rope to go to COOPs, right? the rope is at COOPs I recall.

You have to cross one at the woods of west glade. I posed this question when the poaching thread came up. They have added a mini patrol hut with a sign that says “smile your on camera”

Pretty sure they entered from the incorrect location on Juggernaut, intending to reach the Madden Creek drainage which if done correctly allows you to return to Sunrise. They jumped in too early...

I heard the kids jumped in ahead of him and by the time he caught up they were too far gone . . .

Well, then he did not take them in …. although the suggestion to do Madden Creek was questionable

talked w him a few times, certainly seemed to have his sh*t together, something more to the story here is my thought.

Sooo did they end up to the skiers left or right of Bucklin? Lots of fun on the left but you better know where to stop to get back to Bucklin........

Looked like skier’s right how many footprints are there crossing the stream.
