Where did Trump supporters come from?

Post by G-smashed »

This doc. on PBS reveals a lot. These are the ancestors of the MAGA movement.

Did you actually watch it, or are you just making the assumption that your right-wing media has told you to make?

It's historical fact that Nixon went after the disaffected white southern vote after Kennedy sided with the civil rights movement in the 60's. It's how the parties flip-flopped on racism, with the former pro-segregation democrats suddenly turning pro civil rights and the Republicans moving from the anti-slavery party to favoring "state's rights" meaning allowing states to discriminate without interference from the feds. Those same voting blocks and basic ideologies still persist today.

Are you constantly trying to impress…. Or did you really think you were a viable member of The Brookins Institution?…. Blather on,

So you're denying history just because you don't like the source of my info. It is a documented fact that there was a pro-Nazi movement in the US in the 1930's. I guess you agree with them that we should only have white Christian men in charge of government. Pathetic!

Your continuous ASSuming is …. Well?…. Continuous. I thoroughly enjoy American Experience…. My long ago Allston ma based biz… was about 500….800 ft from where production was done. By the same token… most of the other Uber liberal crap from PBS/ WGBH( well G-d bless Harvard)…I’ve no time for. As a born and basically non- practicing Jew?… I more than aware of the atrocities of the past…. I just choose to look more forward than the past. As a Killington home owner… do I opt to not pass thru bucolic Woodstock… as it had a strong foothold within the KkK decades ago?. No. Time lets things evolve and change.
