Rookie complaints….snowshed is going to be a nightmare today if they don’t get the quad going

App says one of the magic carpets at ramshead is on hold. What causes a carpet to be on hold?

SPQ and Bear Quad were both down at the same time this AM. I did not see any ropes up to keep you from going over to Bear. One of the Ambassadors told me there are a lot of people over there trying to get on the shuttles back. Incredible.

Put an inch of ice on a carpet and go look at it. Then get back to me…daytripper wrote: ↑Jan 27th, '24, 09:49 App says one of the magic carpets at ramshead is on hold. What causes a carpet to be on hold?

The magic carpets at Ramshead are covered. Snowshed is uncovered.

Pulled into the basin at 930 to a completely packed RH, upper snowshed, vale and starting to park down the access road. Went over to a pretty empty bear lot to find the largest line I’ve ever seen for BMQ. Decided to be Pico refugees.

Killington keeps choking on Saturdays. It can’t be a good look.

Interesting morning - checked web on way to shuttle! Still only Stage 2 and bubble listed on hold. Arrive to only Snowshed double running! Overheard in line that Sup on hold! Headed down Yurt run to Northbrook - up and headed down High Road skiers left on soft groomed. Northbrook line building up - watched skiers/riders in middle of High Road and it was like an ice skating rink - there was only that one swipe of grooming on skier’s left. Down to Sup - still not running. Back down a fast Learn to Ski and line ok, so hopped back on to Sup again and now it’s running. Gateway to Bear Claw to lower Sky - no SkyPeak - Bear lift hideous - singles line not bad - heard there was a fight in one of the group lines! Bear stopped what felt like every minute! Gave me more time to realize the only way out is Needles where I arrived to a line almost out to Stage 2. Actually a pleasant ride with nice peeps. Decided my patience was struggling so headed to shuttle. SnowshedQuad still not running, nor cleaned! Line on double laughable! Line for kiosk out to almost Rams tunnel. Line for ticket window almost out to shuttles! Crazy out there - be safe!
Edit to add: if going for afternoon shift, wear old - grease dripping on all lifts I rode, esp Bear and Northbrook!

Been doing laps on the learn to ski bus.

Stage 2, Skye Peak Express, Snowshed Express, and South Ridge still down with no time estimate. I'm not sure if they're even trying to open them at this point. They were totally unprepared to deal with the ice. Absolute embarrassment and disgrace. This is the result of laying off so many employees and trying to run on a skeleton crew.
