Usually that is indicative of a problem with the connector itself, or a delay on one of the stages. It takes some time to connect them, so if one of the stages was delayed, they might just run them independently once both are open, rather than have to stop the lift for 10 minutes to connect them.

Road it up shortly after lunch and this was not the case.

At RH they were line backing the chairs around the terminal for a while though.

FWIW I rode the Skyship atfter a Peak to Creek run around 1:30, no getting off and on and no one was in line at the mid station to join us. Also rode the Needles chair multiple times with no issues. Both lines where rather short if there was any line at all. No issues with either lift today. Bear chair did break down for an extended period of time around 2 PM so we bailed and called it a day. i did run shortly there after.

That seems like it is a bad look on a holiday week. All eyes are on, and that seems like a pretty visible failure.

Even more so considering wait times were over 20 minutes in the lift line. Waited on Sunday for 45+ minutes as it stopped over and over again.

The fact is everybody has a choice on where u spend your money. If you think the skyeship is unreliable, and unsafe and the rest of K is the same don't buy a ticket or pass! None of us know why it was delayed today or the reason it has so many problems. We can speculate all we want which does no good. It sucks some of the cabins are unloadable but I mean would u rather ride a ropetow from the skyeship base? You guys spend your $$$ at a business and you don't have to spend it at places you see problems at. There are many other ski areas around, go there!

It really pains me to agree with Bayfive but there were many times when Americans were dying in Iraq and Afghanistan that I had the same thoughts. Here we are spending a large amount of our time skiing and drinking at a major resort and still complaining when we should be thankful about how lucky we are.
