How bad were the lift lines today 2/17 ?

Post by Mogulee »

We stayed home because of the choked slopes last few years . Was it not bad or typical Saturday president weekend lift waits ?

North Ridge quad looked light most of day on cam.

Is your name 'ee', or a somewhat clever melding of moguls and lee? i was not there today to provide info, just thought i'd ask that question,

Just a goofy ID 😬. I don’t even like moguls. Glad it’s cold. Hope the snow stays well. Planning on skiing mid week

Not bad at all. Seemed like the crowds never showed up. Hit most key lifts, and probably longest wait 5-10 min. Bigger crowds last weekend for sure. And conditions were very good.

Speaking of cold, tonights low at the peak? 1degF. followed by 8f, 4f and 14f tues night. Even down here in northwest CT, simply enjoy preserving the snow, would rather have it stick around, makes me happy. Midweek skiing for the win, good luck mogulee!

Ikon base is blacked out Today and tomorrow, usually light crowds when that is the case.

didn't ski today but the ikon blackout certainly a factor in the lighter turnout. also have noticed that on the 3-day holiday weekends, the sunday is usually the more crowded day.

Crowds were manageable. IKON blackout. K1 and bubble maxed at 20 minutes. The other major lifts, 5 minutes. The rest, walk on.

No blackout there!

The Killington App sucks. it tells newbies where to avoid. Seriously, without it who would know to avoid the bubble. Or K1.

Ikon base pass here so spent the day out on the VAST trails which were soft and fun as hell, didn't go far but made it over to the South Woodstock county store for breakfast, then on to Ramuntos for bloody maries, and then on to the Long Trail for a liquid lunch. KingsFourWoman got sideways going over the snowbank in the Long Trail driveway and wound up on the pavement but she shook it off pretty good, nothing a beer couldn't cure.
