It looks like a big, giant, white "S" !
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
Don't you let that deal go down
Looks like its going down no matter what I do !!!

Re: Superstar 2024
Based on the trail report for tomorrow, Skye/Bitter is supposed to be open.
2014 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift shouldn't be."
2019 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift (operating midweek) shouldn't be."
2023 - Killington announces that the South Ridge lift will run five days a week.
2024 - Killington lied.

Left hand meet right hand? From the website...Captain Hafski wrote: ↑May 10th, '24, 08:24Trail report today: Supe only.Southside_Bobby wrote: ↑May 9th, '24, 16:54 Based on the trail report for tomorrow, Skye/Bitter is supposed to be open.
Our grooming team has put down fresh corduroy on skier's right of Superstar, while leaving the left side of the trail bumped up. They also have groomed a short section of Upper Skyelark, which connects back to Superstar. The middle section of Skyelark and Lower Bittersweet are open and ungroomed, though walking is required.

Re: Superstar 2024
For those of us stuck back in the flatlands this weekend...what are the odds of next weekend? And June 1?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Superstar 2024
Two things are definitely simultaneously true right now: the snow is melting fast and a lot has melted in the last week, but there is still a lot left on her.
The World Cup Ice is beginning to show itself. Next week is warm. But I personally would be surprised if we don't make next weekend.
June feels like an eternity away, especially for the headwall. And they do like to claim TTB if possible on the last day, even if it often is only really contiguous for the first 20 minutes. But maybe they'll go for it even if it's not TTB and/or ski on. Maybe, maybe, maybe.
It's hard to believe it was two months ago in mid-March, before the storms, that we were pretty sure this season would be toast by early May.

.
Uh-oh.
There's a decent reserve just above Launchpad where they filled in, but that will go just only so far. It's a lot of melty hours until Friday. Monday looks like an eternity.

Snow loss is exponential in this heat.
