Crack o noon in the gropel, hail and snow.

Needles and low angle woods not bad. Stichline thin but good. Thimble had 1” of mixed stuff on top and was almost powder. Almost the rotd.

Ovation firmer than expected. Stuff off the bubble good with SBF and Tricks. Low rider still good. Patsies thinner.

Called it around 3:30. Better day than expected.

I hopped on Superstar around 8:30 and was pleasantly surprised to see an inch or two of snow at the top. Hit Ovation Top to bottom, Middle O was fun if you made the right turns since the bumps were solid underneath.

I spent the rest of the day in the canyon, lapped Escapade, which was pretty awesome, and then I saw the wizard a few times. ROTD was Double Dipper; it had some weird natural snow + spring snow thing going on.

later report as well. too lazy and tired to type one on my phone Sunday night LOL.

Also hit Sup early at 8:15 and pleasantly surprised to see that it had snowed about halfway up. It was also still snowing near the top. Hit Ovation, then old sup, which was really good. Up the Box to the Canyon, where it was indeed still snowing. Cascade, escapade, DD twice, then lower east fall.I agree with DD as being very good. We then went over to North Ridge did Rime which was good up top but kind of meh on the bottom. Ridge Run twice as it was skiing good. Decided to take a run to the creek for old time sake with my son, since he hasn't been to K since he was young enough to enjoy that kind of thing. Was odd coming across an ungroomed/thin cover sign at Bearly. We continued on and were greeted by some of definitely thin or non-existent cover. not sure how or if they made it through the day as this was like at 9:30ish. Went over to Bear for some spring turns, thought we'd wait for OL to soften a bit more, so went back to Sup chair and at the request of my son did Old Sup again. It was really good. After a K1 lunch and a Guinness went over to snowdown for a few runs then back to Sup chair for another Old Sup and then off the back to Bear to hit OL. It didn't really soften much, but the gropel or styrofoam whatever the hell was falling from the sky was falling at bear and actually made OL not too bad. After OL legs were toast as this was day 3 went back to needles and then a Bitter>high road to close it out.

VERY light crowd and peeps missed what I thought was a pretty decent day.
