2019 - "A South Ridge trail is Pipe Dream. A South Ridge lift (operating midweek) shouldn't be."
2023 - Killington announces that the South Ridge lift will run five days a week.
2024 - Killington lied.

I find this so strange given the aspiration of being a four season resort. Just be open as much as possible, even if only the bar and a limited menu.

Same as last year. They used to keep it open later when they had the old K1 Lodge.

has nothing to do w trying to be be a 4-season resort. has to do with the place being absolutely empty during the week. there's plenty of room in the K1 lodge.

Fair enough, but I assume K1 is running weekends as long as canyon is skiable?

This is a case of shrinkage which I blame on the Nyberg model that I believe still exists in POWDR.

plan A was for supe to close early to begin construction of the new lift so they made a lot of snow on double dip, downdraft and cascade (just an observation). the plan on supe has changed so if skiable, would guess the canyon could run through the last weekend in april.
