monday 4/15 report

hard to believe it's the ides of april already. a foggy start to the day with the fog pitching a tent up top particularly in the canyon and NR. cramped our style a bit. hero snow abounded from the git go. hard to find anything remotely firm. 9-12 shift.
at the bell both LEF & cascade were soft & creamy. if anything lack of viz made them a bit "challenging".
headed over to supe where the fog lifted a bit w the sun even peaking at times. all runs there skied very well. old supe nicely skied in soft bumps but the final drop-off is almost gone. mid o got a couple swipes. smaller not as defined bump lines since it recently had been groomed. lower o skied well, at least 90% of it but there are a couple major ski arounds necessary.
back on the front, fog still an issue up high. got some "vertigo" on GN. ridge run nice soft bumps. not sure how much longer it lasts. wanted to do both of the DDs but preferred better viz. should rock tomorrow. highline has a major gash running across w other bare sections. soft enough. upper chute/GB skied very well. a few easily avoidable rocks on lower GB.
