He put on one of the absolute best concerts at the Wobbly Barn back in 08 or 09 . . Definitely a legend . .

damn that's sad. one of the guitar greats who wrote some classic tunes. saw him a couple w the brothers both w duane and post-duane.

sad indeed.
got to see him with the ABB twice in '81, and solo in the early '00s. always loved his playing...on the rock guitar pantheon indeed!
ETA: one of the pics in the article is of the excellent '81 lineup (with the excellent dan toler on guitar - he was also a member of dickie's band i saw in 03, and duane's band in 83 or so)
