We did this several years in a row when Nyberg cut off our spring at K. When we started the airfare from Newark was $300 and Snowbird was charging 1/2 price. They run the tram, Mineral Basin, and Little Cloud. That's a lot of terrain compared to one 1200' high trail back at K. The party scene on the tram deck was also pretty good. We ran into other Killington refugees on every trip.

We used to stay at the Marriot Residence Inn in Cottonwood Heights and rent a car. In May you could park right under the entrance to the Tram deck. A bonus was that we got to drive around and check out some local dive bars like the Canyon Inn and Hog Wallow.
