There's the difference between you and me, if that's true at least I know how to laugh at myself. And if indeed I look silly, which I don't believe I do, who gives gives a crap.
Does every great ski thread have to end up with Andyzee trying to prove he doesn't give a crap?

I went backpacking in the Maroon Bells years ago and came across what looked like ruins of an old tramway in the mountains just below treeline. We couldn't believe there was once a ski area there. There was a huge boiler and steam engine to run it, towers built on stone foundations, the bull wheel, all kinds of parts. It dawned on us it was likely a tram for ore. We hiked up the 'lift line', and found the mine shaft at about 13,000 feet. It was totally filled with ice.

I wonder if any of the miners skiied....
