And no more 0% interest, its up to 5%. And to get the discount, you have to finance with GMAC. 5% on $25,000 over 5 years is gonna cost you about $5,000. So where's the discount now? Truth be told, there is no discount - big marketting scam!

Dis, you have way too much faith in the intelligence of the general population. GM’s sales have taken a sharp turn north since introducing this program.

Even with the employee discount and 0% financing I wouldn’t consider a vehicle from GM, as I think their technology (Or lack of) and styling are inferior. Through my company I am able to get a GM supplier discount price at any time and in December when I was shopping for a new vehicle I didn’t even consider taking advantage of this program.

GM needs to wake up and smell the coffee. Gone are the days when people like my father would purchase a car only if it had a Ford insignia on it. Domestic brand loyalty has gone down the tubes because asian automakers have set the bar and American manufacturers still have yet to come close to it.
