John Danforth, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has resigned.
UNITED NATIONS (AP) -- After just five months on the job, John Danforth, the U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, has resigned from his post, his spokesman, Richard Grenell, said Thursday evening.

Maybe he's worried the UN investigation will reveal he was involved?

True.

I actually saw a special where it is "rumored" that a man Clinton pardoned during his presidency was involved in the UN oil for food scandal. I didn't watch the special, nor do I remember the network it aired on (I think FOX) but I just thought I'd note that.
