Re: Pabst Blue Ribbon to blame for cheap beer price hikes: resea
Draft beer is almost always substantially cheaper for licensees to buy during the winter months. Almost every sub-premium beer has "specials" to push their kegs. In college we regularly purchased (we had a NJ "club" license) kegs directly from the wholesale distributors. It was n...

Re: BIG Cat spotted
Not so unusual. There are bobcats, coyotes and bears near my house in Central New Jersey ! The coyotes are noisy at night. The bobcat is less visible, but gorgeous on the several occasions I have spotted it. Bears are less plentiful, but always make the local papers when they appear. All tend to kee...

Re: New Owners!
BTW - "Patel" is probably the most common Indian surname and, like the Anglo "Smiths" and "Johnsons", they are all not related to each other. The AAHOA (Asian American Hotel Owners Association) was created to overcome this bias (among other reasons), but it still exists...

Re: I am the only one at Kzone to ski here
Buck Hill Falls in PA during the 60's. Nice old resort with a Poma (better golf in the summer. Greek Peak is ski area closest to Cornell. Older son David had season passes there during college and law school. 20 minutes to powder before classes, especially on powder days. Stayed at condos there for ...

Re: Vermont Inn (Mendon) Sells At Auction: $270K
It is an unfortunate banking reality. If borrowers don't keep in touch with their lender when times are bad and they are very late and/or in default, the bank is unlikely to do anything for them. The "extend and pretend" theory for banks ignores the reality enforced by federal and state ba...

Re: Snowdon reconfiguration....
It was easier to ski with a mixed group at Bear before the removal of the SRT. Still take better beginners up Outer Limits and they can ski over the top and cut past Sunrise and the removed DF chair back to Bear. Best Skiers have laps on DF & OL, while the good skiers can head right and back to ...

Re: Living in Vermont/ Practicing Law in Vermont
I came upon this post as I was about to post a separate law-related article for the regulars (who else reads these posts this much before ski season), but as a semi-regular and frequent lurker, I thought I would respond. My wife and I have been practicing law in NJ for more than thirty years. Ours f...

This is a Bermuda-based website with simple animated tracking projections. It was spot on for Irene.
It is also an interesting read.
