Re: Vail Buys PCMR
$182.5 million in cash for Powdr when they sold PCMR to VR. So where did the money go? Not to Killington or Pico! Uncle Sam collected $30 million. Four investors wanted out, so there went another $80 million or so. Then without PCMR's cash flow ($25 million a year) no longer on the balance sheet, a ...
Re: Bond Set
Powdr does carry significant debt. According to the LinkedIn profile of Jennifer Botter, Powdr's former Chief Financial Officer & Senior Vice President of Finance, she "Recapitalized company with $670M in three separate credit facilities comprised of both debt and equity."
Re: Bond Set
PLUS, $19 million by March of 2015 for the 2015-16 season. Thats $36.5 Million in cash that won't be going to new ANYTHING at Killington and Pico.

Re: POWDR EVICTED FROM PCMR
Vail running Killington/Pico would be the best thing to happen to the place since PS put the first lift in! The longer the delay, the greater the likelihood that PCMR is run by POWDR for the 2014-15 season. That increases the odds that they will achieve a longer term deal. I expect the rent to be in...

Re: POWDR loses in court, Vail will take over PCMR lease
Unfortunately, this does not bode well for the future of Killington and Pico. The longer John Cumming remains defiant and continues to drag this through the courts, the further downhill the rest of the Powdr resorts will slide. At this rate, don't expect to see anything upgraded, improved or replace...

Pico Pass Holders getting the shaft on resort benefits?
Three free days at all Powdr Resorts for 2014-15 pass holders at Killington, Boreal, Park City, Ski Las Vegas and Copper Mountain. Looks like Pico season pass holders get zilch even though passes cost $369 compared to Boreal's $279 pass. http://www.parkrecord.com/park_city-news/ci_25732222/new-next-...

Re: Talisker & Vail vs. POWDR : Park City eviction lawsuit.
Unfortunately, this hits close to home as the banks won't lend money to Powdr while this is tied up in the courts. So it's looking like we'll see very little in terms of summer improvements at either Killington or Pico. Maybe things will change if VR comes to town?

See ya Nyberg. Don't let door hit you on the way out ... and welcome to the new position Mr. Bean Counter. At least now we have someone in charge with a vested interest in the overall success of Killington. This will be a refreshing change!

Re: Powdr Sues Talisker over Park City Land Holdings
Here is a great opportunity for Powdr to purchase land at the Canyons and tell Talisker to vacate the property. Regardless, more money will flow west to settle this mess.
