Re: KSAA files lawsuit to restore lifetime ski passes

The new owners have also proposed altering their operating schedules, which will significantly impact local families dependant on the area for employment. What does this have to do with Puffy-Powdr honoring lifetime season passes? If a local family is dependent on K for employment, they're kind of ...

Hey yeah, I get my jollies by laughing at someone's tragic death as much as the next guy. It is sooo funny to say "Darwin Award!" So blazingly comedic. And it makes me feel so much better. Fa fa fa. But you know, I've been laughing here, in smug ecstasy, for a few hours now, and with regar...

At $75, it is only exceeded by Stowe, which charges $76 and is an hour further north. By what? Private jet? I don't know about that...takes me 2 1/2 hours to get to Stratton. 4 1/2 to get to Stowe. But believe me now, trust me later, the terrain is pretty good at Stratton. Woods are abundant and di...

The "table of consanguinity" was a chart we had in trust & estates to determine the closeness of kin.

What do you call your first cousin's kid? First cousin once removed. Knowledge like that really made my $90g's worth it.

All the supermarkets are on the wrong side of Route 7 to put in competitive bids. Best to spark a bidding war between Denny's, Uhaul and the Econolodge.

And if its peak time your traveling, there's a short cut through Ludlow --- but only on the way up. At that fork in the road downtown, take the right that looks like it goes somewhere. It turns into a one-way and will dump you back onto 103 after Okemo. Not worth it if traffic through town is light....

I've done it all. I would rather have a 2WD car with snows than a 4WD (or AWD) with all-seasons. 4WD (or AWD) with all-seasons I think is the worst idea and should be outlawed. You're able to drive faster, but have no (appreciable) enhanced ability to stop. I love seeing those turkeys turned around ...

I've done a lot worse.

Kirstie would be a big trade up from some girls I've been with, a slight trade down from others.

Way to make a career out of being overweight and overage and never being all that compelling an actress. Give 'em hell Kirstie!

Oh, and have fun on all those flat trails full of little kids on 3 of the mountains with the least challenging terrain in New England! Ummm..no offense, but if you think the terrain at Killington is vastly more challenging than Stratton or Okemo, you are doing one of the following: 1. Vastly overes...

Otherwise no one would do it. That said, don't underestimate the marketing value K-ton. Blow them guns low while y...

Re: Killington Friday Morning UPDATE

Due to the latest weather forecast which has warm temperatures and a chance of r**n for Tuesday and Wednesday, we will not be making snow from mid-mountain down. See -- I would say that's why you really need to make snow from mid-mountain down. Yo know --- good ol' thick base butter. Go tell 'em: &...
