A serious LEGAL question about ski collisions
I am looking for a legal fact or rights that would apply if you are involved in a skiing/boarding collision with another skier. If I am skiing down a trail and and i am hit from behind by another rider/skier, what are my legal rights to compensation for injuries and/or damages to my euqipment (skis,...

Is selling lit tickets illegal when....
I have had recent knee surgery, minor scope. If I had vouchers for lift tickets expiring soon, am I legally able to get the daily tickets from my voucher and then sell the lift tickets to day skiers at a discount? I am not sclaping tickets but getting value for tickets that I cannot use. How much tr...

Re: Rutland Herald Article on Holiday Weekend Skier Traffic
I would challenge anyone to suggest that the place is busy anytime. Lift lines are much shorter with the exception of the gondola lines on cold, windy, and inclement days. Weekends are nice to ski without the busy crowds of the past but unless the cost of business has dropped this is an ominous sign...

Re: Snow Guarantee??? Again!
Nice to hear from the rich bastards, the Kennedys online and of course the local season pass holders.
My December weekend sucked.
But my summers at the beach were awesome. Enjoy the black flies!
See you all this weekend!

Sorry Bubba, my business will be elsewhere this weekend.

Snow Guarantee??? Again!
How did it work out for those that skied the anniversary weekend in December. What a debacle. So we can wait until the last minute to purchase and yes this weekend will be great. But without the guarantee, those of us who will buy these weekend tickets , getting screwed by the reminder of the the fi...

For an $82 Saturday lift ticket, you would think snowmaking would run all week long!

Re: 50th anniversary tickets with NO Guarantee
Nice to see the usual suspects with nothing but sarcasm. those lifts run whether they are full or empty, your costs are affected by all of us skiers that pay the freight. No one said free, but who is doing what it takes to fill those chairs and not just when it is a vacation period or weekend. This ...

What ski areas have helped the working consumers, who has no
I have skied 1 day this year, down form the 20-25 that as a weekend skier disappoints me. No season pass as I have had in the past has hurt. Lodging costs and high ticket prices have crucified me and my family. Empty slopes on the weekend makes locals happy, but does it help make local business peop...

50th anniversary tickets with NO Guarantee
How nice of Killington to offer a $100 2 day lift ticket for the 50th anniversary, but gee it must be a nut buster that it does not come with a snow guarantee. I mean if you buy a full priced ticket you get it, but for the poor bastards that that the economy is beating up like a Marvin Hagler boxing...

Re: Economy and Skiing/Riding
I have been talking about this since last winter and was criticized and told to stay home. well for anyone watching a shrinking dollar and possible loss of a job, there may not be much of a ski season. And to the big mouths who laughed at posters like me, without the weekend crowd of day and weekend...
