Re: New lift planned

Great terrain over there........

So from my 5m house I have to ride 3 chairs to get to the top. That's with pushing from rams to snowshed and pushing to K1.

Or 3 chairs to the top of the glades chair.

What a deal!

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..

In theory wouldn't a 6 pack have more capacity than the Gondi? And a high speed quad puts more people up the hill than a 6-pack. /thread-hijack. I'm sure this has all been rehashed here but why wouldn't they just do that....... Get people up to Needles - Replace Needles and Stage 2 with a 6 pack - ...

Re: Mountain Green Sales?

I would disagree. The taxes matter even if you are a 2nd or 3rd homeowner. It may not matter for those well inside the top 1%, but it matters to the top 2% to 10% (of the 1 to 2% of ski families that would buy ski real estate in New England) that need to be killingtons market for that village, whet...

Re: Friday 4/5 report

Sad I missed it.

The best powder days are when K1 is closed.

Everybody forgets to go triple to glades ...

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..

I saw Mike and bunch of other executive level looking folks waiting at the mid-station for an empty gondola cabin. Looked like they had 5-6 in their group, and by the looks on their faces as we went by, it seemed they had been waiting considerably longer than they expected for an empty cabin to com...

Re: SkyeShip Gondala > Number of busted chairs..

Killington is a lot better now than it was 10 years ago.

The new stuff makes the old stuff look really bad.

Their biggest problem is they either dont pay enough for help - or there's no more good help in VT to get.

Re: Mountain Green Sales?

I'd get out too. Congrats! But in this nutty world - if they ever get it fixed ( IMO they won't because it's a herculean task ) - that's cheap real estate at 600 bucks a foot next to the village ( see Stowe ). Stowe is over $1,000 a square foot. Aspen is $4,000 a foot off the mountain a half a mile ...

It was slim pickings at Noon Saturday down the middle for the rookies.

Snowboarders kill that thing quick.

Re: Saturday 3/23 report

Great day out there. Be careful especially around Bear. Very bony on the steep stuff. A couple of sleds over there yesterday as the result of hidden objects being hit.... Great day though. Fun watching the hill change for the better in 12 hours. Best snowmaking on the planet is mother nature. Sent f...

Re: Cover

Thank you!

Sounds like a canyon start on Saturday.

Are there a ton of trees down in the un named area between Flush and High line? Looked like more than the usual debris down.

Bummed about the open streams at Needles....

Outside of the Canyon, how's the coverage in the woods?

Streams frozen? Growler ? Bears Ass?

Haven't been up in a while and I'm assuming Saturday is going to be a zoo
