I started to ride a bike around NYC because I have been told it is good for my knees, I plan to ski till I die so my knees need to last a lot time. What do you think of this? Are there other sports you find help get you ready for the ski season?

Very sad, this guy was an awesome "skier". He was with the group of 5 reported snowboarders who were killed in an avalanche at Loveland. It seems so pointless to say if he was skiing or riding that horrible day. I wish there was a term for someone who was a skier, snowboarder, telemarker, ...
