On the webcam this AM, it looked like there was a gun blowing at GN and DD. I thought they'd try for top to NR on day 1. I took a ride up and ran into Barb who was returning from her hike to the top. I asked her and she said there was no snowmaking on GN.

Why is Hops leaving just as ski season starts? We'll miss that place.

180 days all at K. We think there were 4 or 5 of us with perfect attendance.

Although it was a little wet on Sunday, the snow was really nice. Better than Saturday. I thought I was the only one on the hill. I guess 180 was out there somewhere too. Lower Bitter was excellent! (thanks GIS!). Upper Bitter was a disaster. Upper Skylark good, lower ok. Snowdon was better today after the inch of new snow. The section of Chute over the lower tunnel was really showing some serious wear when I left at 1.

At least today, the walking out from the Canyon wouldn't have helped. All the trails in the Canyon were roped off. The first open trail off Great Northern was Highline, unless you wanted to ski down Rime or East Fall to visit the shut down lift down there.

100 days today!

Today was the start of the 100 Day Club for 2023 also. Eight of us this year have skied 100 in 100. Good to see you on line the other day and a brief chat. Hope the knee strengthens up so you can get out skiing. Especially this season when you want to do it in memory of Maria.

Just wondering - is this a new schedule this season - 9am on weekends too?

It looks like they are blowing to the right of Superstar - maybe on Great Northern? Maybe they would try to open with ski down to North Ridge, stairs up?

Very sad news. RIP Maria. I'm glad I got to say hi one last time on the access road this spring.
