Re: Merry Christmas 2021
Merry Christmas to everyone. At the open there was an inversion - it was r*ining from the top down to GN/Mouse Trap where it changed over to ice. Great Bear was pretty crusty, but fair. North Ridge was nice but got crustier as you descended. The quad there had nice icy, slippery seats.

Re: friday 12/24 xmas eve report
One thing we noticed was that the Fast Tracks RFID gates were moved out of the way at (I think) all of the lifts. Definitely at the K-1 and I think at Supe too. It would be nice if they scrapped it now, but it doesn't make sense with the week coming up.

Re: friday 12/17 report
I agree with skiadkt's review. We took two runs down East Fall at 9 sharp and they were pretty good. By the time we moved on to Snowden things totally fell apart. Even the run over on Great Northern to Mouse Trap was nasty. All rutted sand with dirt patches thrown in for fun. Then Mouse Trap down to...

Re: Dedicated Express Access Lanes
It looks like, for the K1, they will scan in the Fast Pass people up the hill before the corral for the masses and then route them into the current singles line. And the right most gate today (for singles line) only worked with the RFID reader on the right side of that gate. It was a lot of fun watc...

Re: tuesday 12/15 report
We were discussing on the lift this AM about the PSIA groups. None of us ever saw them doing any drills, so we were not sure what they were doing. It seems like they just gather in bunches, talk, then ski down a ways, stop and talk some more. At least with the KMS kids you see them doing drills. The...

Re: 2021 World Cup
I just got an email from Killington stating that the event has been rescheduled for 7:00am. Are they kidding? I need my beauty sleep. And I'm not sitting in the cold bleachers for 3 hours. Or does that just mean that's when the gates open? Activity date: Saturday, November 27, 2021 Start time: 7:00a...

Sorry to hear Ty. My deepest condolences. My kids will always remember their time skiing with her when they were all little.

Re: thursday 11/11 vet's day report
A good test of my stopping skills when the snowboarder in front of me decided to wipe out when he hit the rut on his way into the lift line. Somehow I managed to stop and got around him. And called it a day. A wild day.

Re: Opening Day Friday 10:00 AM
Everyone was pretty relaxed while waiting for the lift to get going again. Free hotdogs, DJ Dave, plenty of sun, and easy delay. I didn't see any $30 vouchers though. Oh well. And after eating the hotdogs, you get thirsty but they were charging for drinks! I could be wrong, but don't think so, but I...

So on the stairway to heaven, do we have to pull over to the right so the Fast Trackers can pass us?

Re: Fast Tracks at Killington
What about the guy that does the right thing, gets up early on a powder day, makes it to the resort at 7, first in line with his family then gets snaked at opening bell by ten people that bought their way to the front of the line, destroying a tradition as old as the sport itself of earring first c...

I have no idea on the pricing, but Costco might be an option too. I think I've seen K tickets for sale there from time to time.

Sorry to hear. I think he's the same age as me - terrible how things happen like that. Enjoy life while you can.
