Re: What Can the New Owners do to Fix K This Season

Interesting. We came by the South Ridge chair at 9:51, and it was running with the gate blocked. Looped Bear Cub and came back, got on the lift. My GPS track shows we were on at 10:08.

Re: wednesday 2/26 report

What a great day. Back for my second week for the season, this time with my adult daughter. Def some fog. At one point we were standing where Blue Heaven intersects Upper Pipe Dream and couldn't see the trees across PD. Daughter thought Skyburst was fantastic; it was a little much for my sad old leg...

Re: thursday 1/30 report

Yeah, it was great out there today. As usual, I stayed mostly on greens and blues, and everything I skied was great. Early on I hit the Stash, first time. No one else was in there. Never been in there before. It's a great run. There are many cool obstacles to ski around. Love that South Ridge lift. ...

Re: What Can the New Owners do to Fix K This Season

Since they heard me about the escalator, I've got more requests: Easy to read clocks on all the lifts Actually, they got this one right. Good job! Easy to read thermometers on all the lifts Those dial ones are nice. Vary the music a little. I mean "Jack and Diane", "Stayin' Alive"...

Hey, the escalator is fixed! I used it! It's like stairs, only it moves for you! Pretty cool.

Re: Monday, Jan 27

It was a great day on the mountain, my first day this year. My humble opinion, 80% of the time Killington skis good to great. I'd put today in the middle of that, pretty good, with some great spots. I'm not really a black skier, so I ski a different mountain than many of you. Highlights: Solitude - ...

Re: What Can the New Owners do to Fix K This Season

I love Killington. I come up twice a year, last week in January and the last week in February. My wife has given up skiing, I either come by myself, or with my adult daughter. I come to ski. I ski from opening to closing, unless my body needs a break. I mostly bring my own food. I don't want to pay ...

Re: friday 3/1 report

A little late on this! Friday, March 1st was the last of my 9 days at Killington, and it was fantastic! I did East Fall a couple times, but that's pretty much my most adventurous black. My ROTD was Bear Trax/Crossover/Great Eastern/Bearly, or other similar combinations such as Crossover/Great Easter...

Re: Midweek on the South Ridge

I was at Killington 9 days this year, and as far as I know, the South Ridge Quad was only running once, on Fri Mar 1st. And unfortunately, with Pipe Dream and Jug closed, it was of limited usefulness, and I only rode it twice. Still, I was glad to see it open.
