Lower Dipper is marked with a snowmaking symbol on the report.
Looks like they did cut Fridays from South Ridge. Every single trail off of it is open, yet it's not scheduled for tomorrow. You've got to be kidding me.
And, no South Ridge chair today [Saturday]. Showing as Closed due to "exposure" concerns !
i would say legit. we headed over to ride to get to DD. they saved us from ourselves. that would not have been fun.
for the record, they were making snow ttb on OL and double dip. report also mentioned dream, but none from the crossover down and couldn't see upper in the cloud that was hanging over it.
Upper Chute/GB
Header
Ovation
DM Park
Upper WF
Pipe Dream
Not gonna happen my guess?
Fiddle
Vertigo
Conclusion
DM HW
Grizzly
have to guess they'll get on DM since they mentioned it in the report for a couple days. grizzly usually gets some when DM is running. UWF is shear gnarlyness. only the best bumpers need apply. shouldn't be a big deal to move some of the equip on OL over there. stash and pipedream should be definites on that side. you'd think fiddle gets a token blow since they redid the plumbing.
chute/GB once resources are freed from timberline, which they have to be finishing. highline was one thing. we got to ski it and was rotd everyday that week. timberline's been closed and when open, only the park rats care. only other priority i can see is ovation. maybe they drag some hoses to header but don't think they consider that a priority.
think the others are far down the list. vertigo skis well on nat snow. don't think they consider conclusion a SM trail and that would only piss the captain off . DHW was a gift last year. and then soon they have to start the spring builds on the skye peak trails. unfortunately the SM window shuts down wednesday with another thaw heading into the weekend. after that see only marginal temps.
That's crazy if they are still going in Timberline.
Bear Cam shows some equipment running on DM down to the half pipe (but not lower) and a tower or two running in Grizzly. No equipment staged in the half pipe area yet.
Looks like Lower Dip is already shutdown. No April glacier.
Trail Report shows snowmaking on Header, Upper Chute and Greater Bear.
DM Looked lit up from the crossover on down at dusk. Really couldn’t tell about Headwall but decided “no”. The warmer conditions coming will be fine for the hits they need to construct.
What happened to the blow on Double Dipper? Seems like the guns were on for less than a day and it looks glacial going past it on Great Northern.
Goes to show, you don't never know
Watch each card you play, and play it slow
Don't you let that deal go down
Don't you let that deal go down
Looks like its going down no matter what I do !!!
