countdown to the fiddle

Post by skiadikt »

now that ol and the skyeship trails are open, looks like most of the major snomaking trails are done ahead of 'schedule'. despite this weekend's blip, cold weather is pretty well entrenched. dipper, ovation & dreamaker are probably next, but wondering/hoping if we'll get the fiddle by the new year.

Well I might as well be the first one to say it for the year..."Blow the Fiddle!"

Looking forward to being up there for New Years so I certainly hope the Fiddle is open!
If you don't fall, you're not skiing hard enough.

Oh yeah, and LETS GO CORNELL HOCKEY!

If it snows all week, we may be able to do it anyway. It is sweeter with natural snow.

For the record, the Fiddle opened on Friday, 1/21 last year. A new year's opening is probably not in the plans at K. Still have to blow Ovation, Vertigo, Dipper, and Conclusion before the fiddle.
Never argue with idiots. They will bring you down to their level, then overwhelm you with their experience.

That was actually the 2nd day it was open. They opened it on Friday afternoon. Oh that was a fun day. Barely anyone skiing it and the guns blazing. Not very often you get to make high speed GS turns in soft pow down Devils Fiddle.
