I thought I read a topic on this a few days ago that Bubba gave a few good suggestions on but I can't find it. soooo..... I need some guidance as to where are the cheapest places to stay. thanx

The "Turn of the river lodge"
is a good start also the "North star' lodge"
There are others but at the moment my mind fails me...like that ever happens :wink:

It is located on Rt.4 near Pico.....So if you don't mind driving 15-20 mins.

Plus you can look out a window on 3 different walls.NOT like being in a cheap motel with paper walls.New mattreses in some of them.Clean + Quiet!

thanx. mendon orchards is lookin good cuz its the cheapest, and turn of river aint too bad either. north star on the other hand is really expensive. they have a heated pool tho. :D

Killington/Pico motorlodge has decent rates.Ok place stayed there in Oct when I was up looking for a winter rental.
No sympathy for the devil;keep that in mind,buy the ticket take the ride.

Also, what motels/ hotels that are on the K access road have pools(heated)?

I believe Turn of River has a deal with one of the lodges for use of pool and health club. Check it out, or wait for someone else to confirm this.

Yes, you can walk to the Grist and buy G and Jr Goombays. Great idea. Brilliant!!!

The Turn of the River is good too. Close to skyship. Cheap. Nice people stay there.

If you don't have lift Tix, I woud suggest calling up K and asking for package deals. I've gotten them very cheaply in the past, especially this time of year.

Mountain Sports in is fairly inexpensive. Maybe not as cheap as the others mentioned, but still not that bad.

The Cederbrook at the Rt.4/100 junction.
They have a great outdoor heated pool too!
