Anyone want to go on Wednesday? Conditions seem more better there.

I was at Jay all last week. 2 feet March 3-4. Beyond Beaver Pond was soft and fresh still on Thursday. Good bumps on Liftline and under the Jet chair. Lots of snow, this week could change a lot though. They were getting r*in when I left on Friday.ozzy wrote:i wa sthinking about jay on thurs.

UN gets some of the best non seeded, natural bumps i've seen anywhere.

Agreed, UN can be great, but last week's snow was delivered in a howling wind. UN's bumps were, by the time I got there, very hard and scratchy. Under the Jet chair they weren't as developed, but still lots of fun, and the trees there stopped a lot of snow in the 15 feet at the edge.ozzy wrote:

Most of the upper mountain (Say 2nd tram tower and higher) was wind scoured, goat was the biggest glacier I've ever seen at Jay. Some people I talked to who skiied Saturday bragged of chest deep in the trees.
Sunday 3/5 Jay was saying was their biggest day all year for skier visits.
