Late March avoid the front Range, Denver side of the mountains. Probably good at A-Basin, Keystone, Brekinridge, Copper, Beaver Creek and Vail. All close enough together to hit from any point on the Western Slopes. You might try Loveland Pass, but they get lots of sun and may not have good conditions.

For ease from Denver, Loveland, A-Basin and Keystone.

Preferred? Brekenridge, Copper. JMHO !

So many places, so little time. Drive west on I-70, go through the tunnel, and you'll soon find Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper and A-Basin. Keep going another few minutes and you'll reach Vail. Figure on 2 - 2.5 hours drive time depending on where you leave from. For something closer, you can go to Winter Park or Loveland, neither of which I've been to.

Totally agree with A-Basin, Keystone, Breck, Copper, Beaver Creek & Vail. Everytime I've gone to Colorado it's been the last two weeks in March and/or first week of April. Out of about 6 or 7 years only once was it brown snow at Beaver, however Breck, Copper & Keystone were great that year.

Yup what they said, any of the Vail resorts, A-basin and Copper. I perfer the Outback at Keystone, but it was quite Hard packed last week of march last year, but we had a big old dump one night that was great for Breck.

I believe they have now have the multi-day passes that you can use at Breck, A-Basin, Copper & Keystone. Can anyone confirm?

EDIT: I usually stayed in Silverthorn. Great deals on condos (not sure about hotels there) and very close to the above resorts. About 1/2 hour from Beaver and Vail.

Confirmed. Was there over xmas. Ticket valid at Breck, Keystone, A-basin, Vail, and Beaver Creek (2 of 5 days at Vail/Beaver). This was part of a package deal....

If I had to pick 1 resort it would be Vail. Just my 2 cents.

I had a great time at Vail closing week in mid April. Ton of terrain still open, the place is just huge! Haven't been to any of the other places though.

Loveland

Depending on when you arrive/Depart, Lovelandcould make for some excellent transit day skiing on your trip to/from Summit County or Vail(especially if its on a weekday).

The one risk with Vail is that its at a lower elevation than much of summit county, although this shouldn't be a problem in late march.... Still, you might consider staying within Summit County. I think Copper and A-Basin have the highest base and summit elevations.
