I dont get it. You pay for a service, then make a personal choice that renders you unable to participate in that service, so you deserve your money back? That's cool that ASC was willing to refund the pass, but if I paid for a pass, and then get injured, or become otherwise incapacitated before the season's beginning, would I deserve my money back too? I dunno. I'm not picking on you I just dont think it makes much sense. I understand that by refunding your money, they could be really making an invenstment by potentially securing a pass purchase for one more person should you choose to take your child skiing, but that's not a sure thing. A nice thing, but not a garuntee.

Yes if you get injured or become incapacitated you should absolutely get credit.

even if be being so is completely my fault? Doesn't seem right to me. I mean, that'd be cool if I got hurt and I got the money back for my pass, or atleast had the pass deferred untill the following season, but I dont think the company should have to do that.

Yes if someone is not able to use thier pass for medical reasons they should get their pass refunded (or should get a credit towards a season pass in a future year).

all you ladies who are think you cant ski while pregnant should see the new meatheads movie--asia was 5 months pregant during the filming and she blew the man away IMO she was the best skier in the movie. She was skiing in the jay trees after a major dump in March.

sure you CAN ski while pregnant, and if you feel comfy with the choice, then more power too you

but some women(like my wife) didn't ski while pregnant. However, she DID continue to teach figure skating as she was much more comfortable on skates then skis. I always used to tease her that snow was softer then ice, but she'd respond that she'd been on figure skates for 18 years, and she'd only been skiing for 2. I'd bet that Asia probably wouldn't jump on a pair of figure skates while pregnant.

I think its a tremendous cop out that Killington wouldn't offer credit for the unused portion of the pass for women who don't want to ski while pregnant.
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Sure, and anyone who thinks they can't huck a tiny 50 foot cliff band should check out Jaime Pierre's 255 ft jump.

Biggest softball ever on this board, and not one of you fags step up to the plate.

This is so sad.

Ok, let me be a bit more explicit for ya.

For just about any given endeavor, there exists a certain number of people who will attempt it and a smaller number who will actually accomplish it. This is the case no matter how admirable or boneheaded the endeavor may be.

Of course, because someone can do it doesn’t mean anyone can (that's the logic part).

I doubt you would find many (any?) doctors who recommend skiing if pregnant. Why on earth take the risk? The best thing that could possibly happen is that nothing bad happens.

And, there’s this wonderful recurring thing in skiing – they call it “next season”.
