The Disemboweler

Post by realvermonter »

Is the Disemboweler really as bad as everyone says, or is he more just a button pusher with the odasity to actually push the buttons?

Just curious...what constitutes a "real Vermonter?"

(I'll never be a "real NH'er" in spite of the fact that I pay outrageous NH real estate taxes in two towns. I'm not sure if my kids qualify as "real," because technically, they're first generation. although their antecedents have been spending summers there since the early 50's.)

(Oh...and..."audacity.")

a 'realvermonter' is a bumpkin who loves her vt heritage and is proud of it.
plus it gives me a great edge to be super nice to the out of staters - because without all of you i would be poor!!

This thread is getting close to an old money / new money debate.

Is anyone as bad as everyone says?
Who's everyone?

For example: I ran into an old friend of Dis' at Pico today.
He saw our man in the lot drinking a heinekin, but not rocking the pink jacket.

S had nothing but nice things to say about the Disembowler.
I've only met Dis once, and I liked him.
I also like Heinekin, especially ice cold.

I was 35 when I moved up here 6 years ago, so I'll never be a "real" Vermonter, and Q-Ball was born in NY (even though he was 4 months old when we moved and took his first steps here), but I have high hopes for my grandchildren.

if your parents were also born there, and you were born there, that would be three generations of Vermonters.

I moved to Vt but will never be a "Vermonter" which is fine. I find most of them to be bicots, and very narrow minded. I think half of them have never even been out of the state. Well maybe to W Leb.

A: Depends on the current use of medication.

B: If a REAL Vermonter can welcome you as a Vermonter, then you too can be a REAL Vermonter, or so I have been told.
