there...feel better

Post by since1961 »

Probably won't make you feel any better but I heard that Steamboat with a record breaking 450" this season is closing April 6th. Several of the big destination resorts out west close in April due to lack of business. Big Sky closes April 13.

Steamboat closes because its lease w/ the forest service

something having to do with Elk migration IIRC
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves.

Don't feel better because I didn't grow up reading articles in ski magazines about how Steamboat has skiing through May.

Why don't you pussies just hike/skin up after the lifts close? My god, i'd only have a 5 month season if I didn't skin up. I can get an OCT to JUL season just by not being so lazy.
