You know, Skippy, you don't have to rise to the bait and attempt to defend your new replacement daddies over at Killington EVERY SINGLE TIME YOU FEEL THEY'RE BEING DISRESPECTED.

Trust me, you've earned that ice cream cone by now. Give it a rest, if only for a little while.

Tin Woodsman wrote: Nice. Thanks for the history lesson. SB was open this weekend, so I'm not sure what your point is, though I must confess that I'm not interested b/c, among other reasons, it has nothing to do with the topic of this thread.

Again, what does that have to do with what I posted? How do you respond to the quote of Bill Stenger?
My point is, I was right, and you came along and corrected me, with an incorrect answer.

I just wanted to bring it to your attention.

My response to the quote of Stenger: :barebutt:
After all of that, the only thing you have to say in response to the actual thread topic is to cut-n-paste a little "bare butt" icon? Cripes, that's even more pathetic than normal.

So you never answered my earlier question: DO you have any friends in the real world?

Wow. I didn't think you'd reveal your true lack of intellect and objectivity as clearly as you have with this post. Thank you - you've done a great service to the posters and lurkers on this board, making it crystal clear that you bring absolutely no value to any discussion, other than morbid humor. Well done.
You specifically called me out to read this stupid quote that I dont give a hoot about. I didn't go into a big long discussion about it, I dont care how Jay does business, I dont live near or ski Jay.

Skiingsnow and others want to make the argument that Powdr is dedicating to offering a "quality" product. Now because a resort in the Northeast cannot guarantee edge-to-edge coverage in the late spring, Powdr makes the ultimate sacrifice and closes down. Closing the mountain allows them to save a few pennies for reinvestment while at the same time graciously spares their valued customers from having to cope with an inferior quality surface.

Of course, 99.8% of season pass holders care a great deal about the length of the season – particularly the length of the spring season. Most are advanced/expert skiers/riders and they fully expect to deal with heavy snow, growing bare spots and eventual walking. We just love those spring bumps, warm temps and blue skies and will continue as long we can find a ribbon to slide on.

I suspect by virtue of severely shrinking the season from the historical K norm, many former pass holders will either downgrade or not renew at all. If Powdr thinks declining season pass revenue is not significant to their business interests, why would they have whined so loudly about a few hundred active bond passes on a $85.2 million deal?

After one season as a valued Powdr customer, I will be voicing my disapproval with my wallet

Skippy doesnt answer questions he cant spin, and likes to throw smoke around by answering questions that weren't asked or proving points that arent pertinent to the discussion. Worse than talking to a politician...

he does work for killington. remember when he was trying to beat a useless point of how great killington is and he then posed a pic of all his passes with his name and his K nametag?

After all what?

This thread title was about the fact that Jay has decided they will reopen next weekend. Mr. Tin Woodsman here decided to show me a quote of something he damn well knows I wouldn't care about, hell, why he's talking to me in the first place is a mystery, and I've been waiting to bring that thread back up, as he appeared to avoid it, and bury it.

Yes, I do have friends in real life.

192.168.1.100

"Definition: 192.168.1.100 is the beginning of the default dynamic IP address range for Linksys home network routers. This means the first computer (or other device) you attach to a Linksys router will typically be assigned the address 192.168.1.100 by DHCP. You can change the DHCP range of a router through its configuration utility to either use or not use 192.168.1.100.

Additionally, this address is a private IP address that you can assign manually (statically) to a computer on the local network. To avoid address conflicts, do not use 192.168.1.100 as a static IP address if it is also part of the router's DHCP range. "
