Abasin Tuseday report

Post by TreeRat »

I was on the road 50 minutes before I saw any snow and then about 3 minutes later there was some snow right up to the road that stop at the salt and sand mix.

Well 4" of new snow groomed after it stop snowing.bummer but I think it was to wet to groom before then. The ski day was overcast from the start but as the line built up (it tuff to have to wait 5 minutes) the cloud got darker and start to snow again.

by noon there were very small mounds that I had hoped would form into bump line but nothing by 3:00 pm so I guess they did on form. it was dumping at 3:00 and the track under the life had filled in(foot traffic form some poor sap and ski patrol. He lost his IPod and had ski patrol find it with a reco receiver). I suppost to snow more over night. but it r*ining here in lakewood right now with thunder and lighting.

Indy love the short hike, and I found some nice woods trail when we get more natural snow.

I will post the photos after I finish the post.

Since when do we have to enter a username/password to see pictures in the gallery? I can't ask Dork because he's sleeping.
